We've been waiting awhile to go to The Local and it's unfortunate they don't allow takeout. But these wings were worth going in person and eating fresh. It was cooked to perfection and I find it hard to find another spot in Atlanta that has as good of wings and sauce. It also seemed like a great spot to hang out as tons of people were around, not even to enjoy the wings!

First time patron.....finally Loads of recommendations by fellow Wing lovers. Smoked, yes smoked wings, with every sauce imaginable offered. Best Bleau cheese dipping sauce in the city. Sarah, a fellow Eastside native, was SPOT ON, guiding us through the unique protocol here. Cold beer! Wing lover destination.... My new go to.

Hubby drove by this "Dive Bar" and wanted to try it, so we tried it out on a Saturday afternoon. They check ID at the door, so you do have to be 21 to enter. It is a neat bar, it is darker on the inside with good lights at the table, it makes it intimate even though its a bar. There is a patio like area on the outside that looked fun, but we stayed inside for the AC! There are QR codes at your table to decide what you want, then you order at the bar area and they call your name when it is ready. They say funny things when they call your order or name, great fun! The server who took our order was very friendly and helpful as it was our first time, he was also the bartender and made a great margarita (my go-to). The hubby got a local draft. There is not a huge selection of food, but it is so good, you do not need a big selection. We both got 10 wings with two different flavors so we could try more: Jerk (Dry), Lemon Pepper (Dry), Spicy Korean BBQ, and Buffalo. They were all so good! We also got a Chili Cheese Tots and fried okra with our wings. I cannot wait to go back!

Of course I had to see what all the hype was about. I had a party of 2 and we arrived around 7:30/8pm on a Friday. The place was still full so while we mulled over the menu, I was staking out a table. We were lucky enough to snag a booth. (You order up front and seat yourself) We ordered 3 different flavors of wings and all were delicious! Also got the loaded fries and those were yummy as well. I can't remember how many wings we got, somewhere around 20. That plus the fries was enough for us ladies to have some leftovers to take home. Parking: small private lot that's a bit tight. There's also some street parking if you don't mind a walk.
